Spicy Air Fryer Potato Wedges

Ingredients

  • 2 medium Russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne powder or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Wash the potatoes, peel them if desired, and cut them into wedges.
  • Place the potato wedges into a pan of salted boiling water and cook for 5 minutes, then drain well and pat dry with paper towels. Place them into a bowl.
  • Alternatively, instead of boiling the potatoes, you can place them into a bowl of iced water for 25 minutes.
  • For the seasoning, add the oil, spices, salt and pepper to a small bowl and mix.
  • Pour the seasoning mixture over the wedges and gently toss to combine.
  • Transfer the potato wedges to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Bake at 360F for 15 minutes or until cooked through and crispy on the outside.
