Copycat Arby's Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce (Lea and Perrins)
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of cayenne

Corn Starch Slurry

  • 1 tablespoon Corn Starch
  • 2 tablespoons Water

Instructions

  • Whisk together all ingredients (except the corn starch mixture ingredients) in a pot over a medium heat. Bring to the boil then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Stir the corn starch into the water to creaty a thick ‘slurry’, then whisk it into the Arby’s sauce and continue to simmer for a further 5 minutes, stirring often.
  • Allow to cool completely before storing.
