Dutch Oven Whole Chicken

This Dutch Oven Roast Chicken is a great way to cook your whole chicken so it's golden brown on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Perfect to serve with your favorite side dishes!

Ingredients

- Whole chicken - Salt - Pepper - Oranges - Butter

- Orange juice - Italian herbs - Smoked paprika - Sprigs of rosemary

Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.

Step 1

Wash the chicken, remove and discard the giblets, and pat dry with paper towels. Season the chicken well with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Melt the butter, then stir in the orange juice, dried herbs, and paprika.

Step 3

Place chicken backside up into the Dutch oven and brush with half of the orange herb butter.
